What better time than this Sunday to visit the Brooklyn Botanical Garden, I will be there. They are celebrating Mother's day with the world-class Louisa Clark Spencer Lilac Collection. "The collection features 150 specimens of these much-loved shrubs, including 20 of the 27 known lilac species and subspecies, and 130 cultivars."--BBG
